Fuel Moto has developed the ultimate baffles for Rush mufflers for Harley Davidson touring models. Although the outer shell is shared with other Rush mufflers the similarity ends there due to our own proprietary baffle design. We have spent countless hours testing different baffle designs, configurations and dyno tuning to offer the best performing slip on mufflers available. These mufflers were designed specifically to be used with the stock Harley headpipes, as well as a stage 1 air cleaner and Dynojet Power Commander (or appropriate EFI tuner). Our main objective for these baffles was the best possible performance with an emphasis on low RPM torque. The stock Harley headpipes work very well and are similar to a 2 into 1 in design, using the right muffler for the primary muffler. We have tested many tru dual setups and have seen their shortcomings, primarily on stock bore/compression motors. We were also looking for a specific sound. We wanted a muffler with a deep, rich tone that provided a pure V-twin sound that provides excellent sounf at a reasonable cruise db level but offers a powerful sound at full throttle with no "hammering" or "tinny" characteristics.  We extensively tested muffler, baffle design, exhaust packing combinations and our final baffle design is the result of 100+ hours of dyno testing and development.

We chose Rush mufflers for this project because of their excellent quality fit and finish, as well as Rush's commitment to motorsports. They are truly an excellent company and we are glad to work with them. For exhaust packing material we selected German manufactured Silent Sport Premium exhaust packing due to its superior sound absorption and durability, although very expensive this is the best exhaust packing in the world. With these mufflers we have made no compromises. We hand assemble each muffler, starting by carefully inspecting each chrome Rush muffler shell, we then assemble each muffler set with Silent Sport exhaust packing and our custom baffles and hand pack and double box each exhaust package to ensure your mufflers arrive in perfect condition. Fuel Moto also offers a lifetime warranty on the exhaust packing material for our custom baffles. 

These mufflers are available for 88" and 96" Harley Touring models. These mufflers require a fuel management module and we recommend the Dynojet Power Commander. We also have complete packages available with the Rush / Fuel Moto mufflers, performance air cleaner and the Dynojet Power Commander III USB pre-programmed with our custom map for this specific setup, contact us for details.  

If you already have Rush mufflers we also offer our custom baffles separately, and they also include our lifetime warranty on the packing material.
