The Dynojet Power Vision fuel tuner is the only flash based fuel tuner available in the power sports market which offers additional licensing. When the Power Vision is first purchased, it is ready to be paired to one vehicle. Additional licenses can be added to your Power Vision that will allow for additional motorcycles to be tuned with your Power Vision. There are three different types of licenses currently available for the Power Vision and each have their own benefits. The most common license purchased today is the 'Tune License' which simply allows an additional motorcycle to be added to your Power Vision while maintaining tuning capability for any current motorcycles paired with your Power Vision. The Power Vision Tune License allows for an unlimited number of motorcycles to be added to your Power Vision to be tuned. Each motorcycle added to your Power Vision requires its own Tune License.
The Power Vision Tune License Program is a provision that will allow a customer to tune multiple HD motorcycles with a single Power Vision. Each vehicle, or more specifically each ECM will require a unique Power Vision Tune License that needs to be "applied" to the Power Vision in order to actually flash, or tune that particular ECM. Once a license is "applied" the Power Vision device will recognize that bike each time it is connected going forward, there is no limit to the amount of bikes you can license. Once generated, a Power Vision Tune License can be applied to any Power Vision unit, it is not device specific.
The Power Vision and your computer both need to have the latest updates before beginning the Tune License process. Plug the PowerVision into the computer you are going to use for this process, then run the PV Update Client (Start, Programs or All Programs, Power Vision, PV Update). Check each item on the list, the Installed Version needs to match the Latest Version. If any item does not match, click on that line, and then click on Download and Install Selected Updates button below. This will update that line item. Once all of the line items are up to date, you are ready to proceed. You will use the procedure outlined below to generate the .stk file from the bike you want to generate the license for. Once we receive the .stk file, a PV Tune License will be generated and emailed to you. This is offered as a same day service Monday-Friday, license requests that come in over the weekend are generated Monday morning.
The Power Vision Dual Tune License allows a second H-D motorcycle to be tuned with a single Power Vision. Only one Dual Tune license may be applied to a Power Vision.
The Power Vision Dual Tune License Program is a provision that will allow a customer to tune a second H-D motorcycles with a single Power Vision. The Power Vision includes the license to program one motorcycle and the Dual Tune License allows a second motorcycle to be added to the same Power Vision. Once the Dual Tune License is applied to the Power Vision, it will allow the Power Vision to Tune the second H-D Motorcycle. Please note that information must be transferred from the Power Vision and saved before a Dual Tune License can be issued.
The Power Vision Unlock License will remove all data currently on the Power Vision and once completed will allow the Power Vision to be paired with one new motorcycle.
The Power Vision Unlock License will remove all data from your Power Vision essentially performing a factory reset. Any motorcycle which was paired to the Power Vision will no longer be paired and all custom tunes, original tunes and log files will also be removed. Updates will need to be performed to the Power Vision after the Unlock License has been applied. At that time the Power Vision is ready to be paired to any one compatible motorcycle.
